About Sky High
Sky High brings communities together through fundraising events to provide comfort, fund research, and save lives of children fighting pediatric cancer.
Sky High was founded by Abbeville, Louisiana native and former Miss Acadiana, Brittany Hebert. It began with the inaugural Louisiana Sky High Sporting
Clay Shoot in 2007, which raised more than $50,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House in Memphis, Tennessee.
This one event spurred a collaborative and dynamic fundraising organization and a true labor of love.
Today, Sky High hosts three major sporting clay tournaments and concerts in Louisiana and Texas. With the support of our generous sponsors
and the efforts of our beloved board of directors and volunteers, Sky High for is able to organize these exciting sports events that benefit
children and families in treatment.
Shortly after the year’s final event comes to a close, Sky High board members, volunteers and sponsors travel to Memphis, Tennessee
to present their donation and host a Mardi Gras Carnival for more than 250 families. Sky High donates more money per year to the Ronald McDonald
House in Memphis than any other third-party fundraiser in the nation.
