Sky High Launches Dollar Day Campaign

July 21, 2016 / Houston, TX

Sky High for St. Jude has launched its latest giving campaign, Dollar Day, with a goal of raising $2.4 million in one day, the daily operating cost of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dollar Day is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, and Sky High encourages everyone to donate $1 by texting SKY to 71777.

All funds raised will be donated to The Ronald McDonald House of Memphis and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, specifically the Eric Trump Foundation Intensive Care Unit and Surgery Center at St. Jude.

“Danny Thomas, founder of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, once said he’d rather have one million people donate $1 than one person donate $1 million. That’s what we’re striving for with Dollar Day,” said Sky High for St. Jude Founder and Board President Brittany Hebert. “Each dollar we raise will make an impact for the families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”

Along with simply donating $1, you can get more involved by becoming a Dollar Day Ambassador. Commit to $1,000 or more in pledges, and create your own fundraising page to track donations made on your behalf. Become a Dollar Day Ambassador, and learn more about the campaign.
